Chirp announced its support for Arm® Cortex-A and Cortex-M based architectures, improving device-to-device connectivity on any Arm®-based product with audio capabilities.
Chirp’s Arm SDK has benefitted from the DSP functionality of Arm's Cortex-M4 and Cortex-M7 processors to engineer a reliable data transfer solution sans being resource intensive, aiding connectivity and application logic to dwell on a single Arm core.
- Is a static library (approximately 740KiB in size) with a straightforward API for sending and receiving data by way of Chirp signals
- Integrates physical and data link layers of the data-over-sound OSI stack with other layers including encryption, application-specific protocols or end-to-end transmission/QoS that can go on top of the SDK if required
