SEGGER Launches Buyout licensing for Embedded Studio

SEGGER has initiated a buyout licensing option in response to developers? demand who work in medium to large corporations with strict licensing policies.

SEGGER has initiated a buyout licensing option in response to developers’ demand who work in medium to large corporations with strict licensing policies. The new buyout option lets an unlimited number of users apply the software sans copy protection, allowing easier installation.

Whether it’s in the office, while traveling, at a customer's site or in the home, there is no license server or hardware dongle required. This way, developers can just design software without having to worry about copy protection issues.

It eliminates having to rely on third parties, as it’s available for Windows, Mac and Linux with Embedded Studio source code being available.

"We are seeing more and more companies adopting Embedded Studio as their Development Environment of choice throughout their entire organization. Listening to our customers, we found that this new option helps to make Embedded Studio even more attractive. Easier is better," said Rolf Segger, Founder of SEGGER.
