Swissbit Acquires Hyperstone from CML Microsystems

Swissbit announced it has acquired Hyperstone GmbH from CML Microsystems.

Swissbit announced it has acquired Hyperstone GmbH from CML Microsystems.

Per the company, it helps boost its value creation and technology competence of memory and security products. Further, the acquisition will allow for the creation of joint development projects that will focus on solutions for security and embedded IoT.

Hyperstone also benefits from the acquisition, as the company can leverage Swissbit’s market experience for the development of its controllers.

The aim of the merger is to develop solutions that allow consumers to protect data and IoT devices easily and reliably.

Swissbit will continue to grow and strengthen its design and development of products and modules that include Secure Elements, NAND flash memory and controllers, through to secure production in its facility in Berlin, Germany.
