RECOM’s REC15E-Z Series 15W DC-DC converters, suitable for cost-sensitive applications where board space is at a premium, are now available from Rutronik. Offering wide 4:1 input voltage ranges, the 1”x1” devices accept 9V~36V or 18V~75V for supply options like batteries, or 12/24/36/48V industrial bus voltages. Rated for 600 VDC isolation and output currents up to 4A, the converters offer an efficiency of up to 90 percent with low ripple/noise, and no minimum load.

With inputs protected against transients up to 100V, additional features include undervoltage lockout to protect batteries from being over-discharged, and the single or dual outputs are continuously protected against short circuits and overload. Able to drive high-capacitive loads, the REC15E-Z Series converters operate over a temperature range from -40°C to +75°C without derating. The converters are fully certified to industrial EMC and safety standards and come with a three-year warranty.
