TE Connectivity Adds to Its Connectivity Solutions Portfolio

TE Connectivity announced it has added Extra Rugged Circular connectors (XRC), Sealed Rectangular Connectors (SRC), ML-XT connectors, and XRC terminals to its portfolio of connectivity solutions.

TE Connectivity announced it has added Extra Rugged Circular connectors (XRC)Sealed Rectangular Connectors (SRC), ML-XT connectors, and XRC terminals to its portfolio of connectivity solutions.

The new solutions, originally produced by Molex, were designed to operate in harsh environment applications, according to a company press release. TE said it will continue to produce the products.

“The XRC, SRC, ML-XT and XRC terminals have been trusted names in connectors for years,” said TE global product manager for industrial and commercial transportation Jean-Paul Gervais, in the. “We are excited to have these connector solutions included in the TE portfolio moving forward. It will enable us to offer even more flexibility to our customers.”

The XRC connectors are plastic and deliver current ratings up to 13 amps; the SRC are rectangular and are a sealed high pin-count hybrid solution; and the ML-XT, also rectangular, are offered in two, three, four, six, eight, 12 and 18 positions.
