Bucking the trend of Taiwanese ODM shops, Taiwan Commate Computer, or COMMELL has elected to stay the course with a wide variety of standards-based board products that offer customers design flexibility. According to COMMELL reps, the company has decided to dedicate more of its resources to modular solutions as the custom design market has become increasingly crowded.

COMMELL’s product portfolio currently extends from off-the-shelf Intel-based SBCs, COMs, and peripherals to industrial PCs, surveillance platforms, POS systems, and SSDs, with their core competency lying in PICMG 1.0/3, Mini-ITX, Pico-ITX, ETX/ATX, COM Express, and Qseven modules such as the newly released QE-E70 depicted below.
