AAEON Releases New Embedded PC

AAEON announced the release of the VPC-3350AI embedded PC featuring Intel? Movidius? Myriad? X.

AAEON announced the release of the VPC-3350AI embedded PC featuring Intel® Movidius® Myriad™ X. It was developed for use in vehicles and industrial applications. According to the company, the purpose of the new PC is to provide faster AI processing without relying on CPU performance alone.

It’s based on a platform powered by Intel® Atom™ x5 E3940, coupled with two Myriad X VPU modules. VPC-3350AI hosts processing speed up to 210 FPS and 8 TOPs, acting as a neural network accelerator. Due to the configuration of the VPUs, the company’s PC can support asynchronous processing of AI models.

Additional features include:

  • Operating temperatures from -20°C to 60°C
  • Four POE ports
  • Two COM ports
  • USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports
  • Expanded I/O
