Vehicle architectures, driven by autonomy and increased connectivity, are becoming more centralized, which creates new cybersecurity challenges at the vehicle and ECU levels. In this talk, we will introduce the foundations of automotive security and current domain & zonal architectures; then we will review some of the key security requirements commonly found in today’s vehicles, as well as the importance of trust in the components you use; and finally we will look at how Infineon’s dependable electronics address these challenges.
