Computer vision is one of AI’s killer apps. Detection and recognition systems are already used in applications ranging from smartphones and retail digital signage to advanced driver assistance systems and industrial robots. And with a variety of building blocks already available to the development community, engineers are beginning to innovate and customize their own advanced computer vision AI models.  But as these computer vision technologies becomes more accessible, developers are spending anywhere from weeks to months just evaluating the dizzying number of AI models, development frameworks, vision sensors, compute platforms, and memory configurations needed for an optimized CV application stack. And all that evaluation comes before they can even begin meaningful prototyping.  This session will detail the technologies involved in the development of real-world computer vision systems.
