Efinix announced the availability of its Reconfigurable Acceleration Platform (RAP) initiative. The initiative opens the company’s quantum technology to a variety of engagement models.

The purpose of the initiative is to deliver the power, performance, and area advantage of quantum technology. Through RAP, partners are able to develop custom ASIC and SIP products for exact requirements of applications.

Per a company press release, by separating the Quantum core technology from the peripheral interfaces, and providing it to developers to use in their own custom designs, they have the ability to create cost-effective custom solutions with an application-specific mix of peripherals and system elements.

Quantum cores from Trion and Trion Titanium families are included in the initiative.
