Newark begins shipping Particle IoT Mesh development kits based on Nordic nRF

The Argon Wi-Fi board, Boron LTE cellular board, and Xenon Bluetooth mesh board enable maker pros to easily interface with the Particle IoT Device Cloud hosted infrastructure.
CHICAGO, IL. Newark is now shipping three Particle IoT mesh networking development kits: the Argon Wi-Fi board, Boron LTE cellular board, and Xenon Bluetooth mesh board. The Particle development enable maker pros to easily interface with the Particle IoT Device Cloud hosted infrastructure using Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity.
The Argon Wi-Fi development board is based on the Nordic nRF52840 and can serve as a standalone Wi-Fi endpoint or Wi-Fi enabled mesh gateway. The platform has built-in battery charging circuitry, which allows users to power it via a Li-Po battery.
Boron LTE is a LTE CAT-M1/NB1 development kit, capable as a standalone cellular endpoint or LTE-enabled mesh gateway. Based on the Nordic nRF52840, it also supports Li-Po battery power and can be used to connect endpoints in remote areas where non-cellular connectivity is unavailable.
Xenon is a low-cost mesh development kit that can be used as either endpoint or repeater in a Particle Mesh network. Also based on the Nordic nRF52840 with support for Li-Po batteries, it is designed to be paired with Argo or Boron gateways to send sensor data into Device Cloud.
The kits are available now from Newark in North America, Farnell in EMEA, and element14 in APAC.
