Leadership lessons from someone who’s been there
We’ve all come across people who are fountains of useful information. We wish we could bottle all that great knowledge and file it away for future use. One such person is Ray Zinn, the former CEO of Micrel. Ray was at the helm of one of Silicon Valley’s most successful companies for 37 years.
I recently did a Five Minutes With… interview with Ray, and during the course of that interview, it was clear that Ray had way more information to impart than we could cover in five minutes. Thankfully, Ray agreed to take part in a weekly conversation, where we cover topics that are of great importance to anyone who has any designs of taking on a leadership role in his or her organization, whether it’s a high-tech company or not.

I should also add that Ray is the author of a book that I reference every once in a while. It’s called Tough Things First, and it gives lots of real-life experiences from Ray’s years on the job.
