ARM TechCon 2016: Interface your Cortex-M3 to an SD Card
Connecting an ARM Cortex-M3 to an SD Card sounds pretty simple, but think again. It’s actually a lot harder than you might think, which is why the technology hasn’t really been available until now. The designers at Cactus Technologies have developed and assembled the pieces that make it work, according to Joseph Chang, the company’s Vice President of Engineering.
In a related but different announcement, the folks at Cactus have come up with a method of determining the life of an SD Card, thereby allowing you to replace the card before losing any information.
